Thanks for visiting my blog! My name is Kelly Cels. I am a wife, mother, designer, and an UC Irvine alumni; go anteaters! I graduated with a B.S. degree in Computer Science, but I have always had a thing for art and design. I love creating art, baking, lettering, photography, DIY crafts, coffee & tea.
I created this blog with the intention to encourage and inspire you to live a more beautiful and creative life. My philosophy of life is go slow and paint colors in life. Go slow and take in the world passing by. Life passes us by too quickly as it is, why rush it? If you’re rushing through life, there won’t be any time to savor the journey. The simple pleasures are lost in everyday life when it becomes an agenda.
Paint colors in life. As Ida Scott Taylor says, “one day at a time – this is enough. Do not look back and grieve the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering.” Life can get boring if everything is in black and white. Make it colorful and different every day, we need excitement to thrive.
Go slow, paint colors in life!
